Cairns Tree Surgery has been operating since April 1996, undertaking domestic and commercial work in and around Glasgow's central belt (Glasgow North and South, Paisley, and Ayrshire). However when requested they have worked from the Scottish borders up to Loch Tay. Derek Cairns 'proprietor' with over 20 years experience recognises the need to keep up with changing legislation relating to health and safety and industry's best practice. Cairns Tree Surgery invests in training personnel updating Qualifications, Certificates, and Safety Equipment ensuring full legitimate insurance coverage. On a weekly basis they dismantle large & dangerous trees in confined spaces with the minimum disturbance to work or home environment, prune small trees for health & vigour - trim, shape & reduce large Leylandii/Cypress hedges & trees, removing stumps as requested. Also we encourage (PHC) plant health care, advising customers on feeding, planting, staking, pruning & shaping. Also they can offer information & advice on pruning/felling trees under the T.P.O. (TREE PRESERVATION ORDERS) & conservation areas. At different times in the year your garden needs a tidy, whether it be hedge trimming in spring or stump grinding in the autumn.   After checking out a few companies we chose Cairns Tree Surgery to remove a large and dangerous tree from our garden. They were very efficent and professional. They tidied everything away afterwards, you wouldn't even know the tree had ever been there! The job was done in no time and was well priced. I will definately recommend them to family and friends.
